First part of Road trip...
Okay, apologies for the delay and further apologies for this update as it's just another taster..though a more substantial one. I've had problems with editing this - the computer is very slow. Hopefully the complete edit will be done soon.
Just a couple of things to mention: Our road trip took in Monterey, San Francisco, Napa, Lake Tahoe, Reno(actually in Nevada), Yosemite, L.A, and Las Vegas...in that order. Unfortunately i didn't take my camera out at night which is probably when we had the most fun so none of those times are represented in this edit. This partial edit includes pictures up until San Francisco - so not even half of it.
I thought i had better upload something in case the billions of followers lose interest and also i have taken lots of pictures since which i need to upload(more on those later!) remember - dont be shy, leave comments. cheers!

Introducing the Roadtrippers..
Okay this is just to keep the blog alive as i work on the 20 plus gigs worth of pics and try to get them into some chronological order and other editing decisions.
Like i said we had an amazing time but I learned it is impossible to take the photography as seriously as I'd like while trying to enjoy the trip as well.
So the pictures aren't as good as they could have been but that would have meant enjoying the trip less so it was an easy choice.
I'd like to thank Tom for being a top companion (and picking some fantastic songs for the road!). We packed a lot in the two weeks, visited a lot of places, met a lot people, and drove on some of the most stunning roads we've ever seen. We had a real adventure and have some great stories to tell ..as well as some we promised not to tell!

introducing the car..
Sorry for the delay in uploading the pics, i have come down with a bad cold and may not be able to work on the blog for a couple of days - i'll see what I can do.
In the meantime I'd like to introduce you to one of the stars of our roadtrip - the car!
A beautiful Mustang Convertible!
What better way to see the country than in a classic american muscle car, you might recognise the Mustang as the car Steve McQueen drove in the film 'Bullit'
It truly served us well, was a joy to drive a took a pounding(we covered over 2000 miles). Having a convertible really made the trip much more enjoyable. We ended up getting burnt to a crisp but it was worth it. So big thanks to my sister for helping us get it.

California Roadtrip coming soon..
So i returned yesterday from our road trip, we had an amazing time -- perhaps too good a time, anyway still managed to get lots of pictures and videos so I will edit and upload them soon.
